On behalf of GSCASH committee a debate on “DISCRIMINATION IN DENTISTRY – A Gender Perspective” was organised on 16/11/2022. Two teams comprising 4 interns each expressed their views on the presence or absence of discrimination in dental practice. The session was moderated by Dr.Ebenezer, Reader department of Periodontics & Dr.Nathiya senior lecturer department of Oral surgery. The event was attended by final year students and gave their opinion about gender discrimination. Both the moderators shared their views on gender discrimination and how the present situation is different from yesteryears. They motivated the students to pursue their passion with strong will to combat gender discrimination as well as the hindrances in the society.
