Oral Medicine & Radiology
Department Description
Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology runs undergraduate program (BDS) and deals with the diagnosis of various pathologies involving oral and para oral structures, identification of related underlying systemic illness and its non-surgical and pharmacological management. The department also plays a major role in catering the needs of imaging of craniofacial structures including Intra oral and extra oral imaging techniques using both conventional and digital equipments.
Vision
To be a center of excellence in the diagnosis and medical management of lesions in oral and paroral structures and head and neck imaging, also to be an excellent training center for academics, research and oral healthcare to the society
Mission
We deliver excellence in patient care with precise diagnosis and non-surgical management of oral pathologies. We provide state of art technology and equipments in imaging of craniofacial structure as part of patient care. WE assure the students a good teaching learning experience and exposure to clinical research. We provide meaningful higher education and patient care by promoting quality of education through emphasizing mentorship, interpersonal skills and empathy.

Chair side test facilities like Pulp tester, sialography kit, aspiration, medical emergency medicine kit and histological smears.
Pain management clinic equipped Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) therapy
Center of excellence for radiology equipped with intra oral radiography machines, Kavo indirect digital radiographic unit, Panoramic / Cephalometric unit and CBCT unit along with Fujifilm digital dry film printer.
