Dr. V.R.Arun kumar is a highly experienced Prosthodontist and Implantologist with over 12 years of dedicated practice in the field of dental implantology. He completed his post-graduation in Prosthodontics in 2013 and has since been actively involved in both clinical practice and academic training. As the Professor and Head of the Department of Implantology, Dr. V.R.Arun kumar, leads a team committed to excellence in implant education and patient care.
His areas of expertise include full-mouth implant rehabilitation, sinus augmentation, immediate loading protocols, and digital implant workflows. He has successfully placed and restored a wide range of implant systems and has mentored numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students in advanced implant procedures. - Course designed to cover from basic to advanced implantology procedure like bone augmentation, sinus lifting and full mouth rehabilitation.

Fellowship Program in Implantology
This modular fellowship program provides a progressive curriculum delivered over 15 months, combining didactic lectures, preclinical simulation, live surgical training, and case-based learning. Participants will be mentored by leading implantologists and specialists, ensuring exposure to a wide range of implant systems, techniques, and real-time clinical scenarios.
Ideal for general dentists and specialists seeking a deeper mastery of implantology, this fellowship ensures that participants graduate with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience necessary to confidently perform implant treatments at all levels of complexity—safely, ethically, and predictably.

- - Participants will be placing 10 implants in patients with one year follow up.
- Course designed to cover from basic to advanced implantology procedure like bone augmentation, sinus lifting and full mouth rehabilitation.

Note:
- Lectures and clinical session will be conducted once a week (Saturday) for six months (till January 2026).
- Participants have to report again on June 2026 for case follow up and documentation procedures.
- All the necessary equipments, materials, patients, implants, lab support will be provided by the institution.
- Participants have to submit the case documentation in the prescribed format and present the same for evaluation by panel members for fellowship certification.
- Guidance for case selection, Implant placement, case documentation including photographs required for fellowship certification will be given by the institution.
- Upon satisfactory case presentation, participants will be awarded the Fellowship in Implantology at Indian Association of Oral Implantologist conference which will be held in Trivandrum from 31st July to 2nd August 2026.
- Travel and accommodation to the conference has to be managed by the participants.
- Lunch and refreshments during the course will be provided at the venue.
- Accommodation during the course should be managed by the participants.
