With the blessings of His Holiness Padmashri Sakthi Arulthiru Amma Avargal and Sakthi Thirumathi Amma Avargal, with the constant guidance and encouragement of our beloved Correspondent Sir and continuous support of our respected Principal and Vice principal, we the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry has successfully organised Happy Smile Week – Children’s Day celebration on 17.11.2023 Friday at 10:00 am in Mini Conference Hall. Department of pedodontics conducted school dental health program, done screening and awareness program for school children,Parents, and teachers in government schools around Melmaruvathur which had benefited numerous number of children as well as parents.
Along with that various competitions among the school children as well, Drawing competition for 1 to 5th standard children under the theme of oral health. Essay competition for 6th to 8th standard on the theme oral health and its importance. Mandela art competition for UG students. Meme competition for our Interns. Prizes were distributed to the winners and to the academic toppers of pedodontics. Considering the importance of oral health in children and also keeping in mind that the treatment need to be reached to all groups of children in this special time with 50% concession on the over all bill tariff on endodontic procedures, appliances and crown placements.
