SAKTHI OMFACE 2023 – Dept of OMFS

With the blessings of almighty ‘AMMA’ and under the guidance of our correspondent Dr.T.Ramesh, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery conducted SAKTHI OMFACE 2023 by organising a live surgical workshop on “Zygoma implant concept- All you need to know” on 3^rd and 4^th of November 2023. Ten participants participated in the hands on workshop.

On 3/11/23, the event started with felicitating the guest speakers Prof. Dr. Veerabahu, Prof. Dr. Saravanakumar and Dr. Joshua Stephen Rajkumar by our correspondent Dr.T. Ramesh, followed by lecture on the topics- Anatomy of Zygoma- clinical relevance in placement of zygoma implant and Surgeon’s persepective in treatment planning- clinically and radiologically. The afternoon session on day 1 consisted of live demonstration of Zygoma implant placement under GA.

Day 2 (November 4^th 2023) started with lecture on prosthetic perspective in Zygoma implant followed by live demonstration of jaw relation on patient. The afternoon session consisted of Digital planning and hands on for Zygoma implant in model.
